Darfur poem.

Dark, gloomy country
Forsaken for its hell inside
No one bothers with them

Dirty grimy politicians
Got their stomachs full
For the aid given by wealthy nations
All the seem to care is for themselves

Hunger, hunger on the faces of children
So sick with big bellies
You’d think they are healthy
But it’s a disease waiting to kill

Big huge flat bare ground
So dry with cracks on it
You’d think no one lives here
Except people waiting to get dispersed
It’s a Diaspora waiting to happen
For the people only know one home
Sudan, Sudan , oh Sudan
Please let us stay.
